Why Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve Will Co-Star Ryan Seacrest

 

Christina Aguilera will be performing on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show with Ryan Seacrest in the upcoming year. The event is going to feature Shawn Mendes, The Chainsmokers, Ciara, Florida Georgia Line, Skylar Grey, Charlie Puth, Post Malone, Macklemore, DuaLipa, and many more celebrity singers you all would recognize from Spotify’s music albums.

Christina did her stellar performance on the New York’s Times Square back in 2007. But when 2019 arrives, she will be returning to the New Year’s festivities by greeting millions of fans on stage just moments before the ball drops at midnight to one of Usher’s hit singles. Ryan Seacrest is confirmed to be hosting prime-time events in NYC followed by reporter Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg.

Other well-known celebrities including Halsey, Lauren Alaina, Kane Brown, Bazzi, Weezer, Dan and Shay, and Camila Cabello, who are also scheduled to perform during the New Year Eve celebration, dubbed its official 47th anniversary. On top of that, Alaina and Brown will team up for a duet musical, after these solo singers which include 5 1/2 hours of live performances and special reports from around the globe.

Ciara the multiplatinum superstar will ring in the New Year by bringing in the Hollywood Party. A large crowd is likely to gather again to attend since it launches on Dan + Shay’s debut performance during this year’s celebration, whereas Bastille and New Kids On The Block has agreed to return from their second time in NYC. This event is being held by Dick Clark Productions, nicknamed the “Rockin’ Eve”.

Maren Morris and Florida Georgia Line will be on stage at the Allstate Fan Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana which is planned to broadcast live during the 2019 show. These famous artists will join the following announced performers: Foster of the People, DuaLipa, Kelsea Ballerini, Ella Mai, Macklemore, The Chainsmokers, and Skylar Grey to cover the West Coast portion of the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show.

Post Malone has agreed to visit the festival and perform one title during his tour stop in Brooklyn, NY. This new song will be broadcast on the show right around midnight, making it the first TV performance to air in America on New Year’s Day. According to the executive producer of Dick Clark Productions, Mark Bracco, this year’s lineup in Hollywood is predicted to be a diverse crossover of artists and musicians alike, spanning multiple genres from hip pop to alternative rock. Since people love to listen to music playlists on their own time, this event should bring them together for some of Hollywood’s greatest hits. Seacrest is once again, hosting the New York City-based portion, due to his expertise as a host in the countdown program, American Top 40. Actress and former co-host of The View, Jenny McCarthy will instead be the correspondent in Times Square.

In addition, the show will check in with host Lucy Hale in New Orleans so the central time states won’t miss this performance. This celebration will begin on Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. ET on the ABC channel.
